Manchester United clash with Charlton Athletic in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals at Old Trafford on Tuesday night, having won their last seven matches in all competitions.

The Reds defeated Everton 3-1 in the FA Cup third round on Friday night, so Erik ten Hag’s men will be looking to progress in the other domestic cup competition at the expense of League One Charlton.

United overcame Burnley in the last round of the Carabao Cup, with Christian Eriksen and Marcus Rashford both on the scoresheet in the 2-0 victory last month. The fixture on Tuesday night is likely to see Ten Hag make a number of changes to his side as the Reds prepare to play four times in just 12 days.

Ten Hag’s men will be keen to progress in the EFL Cup this term after exiting the competition at the third round stage last season, having lost 1-0 at home to West Ham United.
