Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, has said that Manchester United are not interested in signing River Plate striker, Julian Alvarez, this January transfer window.
Romano made this known in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Thursday.
“Manchester United are currently not in the process to sign him in January. Rangnick staff monitored Álvarez at Lokomotiv and Man Utd sent scouts – there’s nothing else as of now.
“His agent’s gonna meet with many clubs,” Romano tweeted.
Recall that Alvarez has been linked with a move to Man United this month.
The Premier League giants are willing to pay his €20 million termination clause.
Alvarez has made 96 appearances for River Plate since making his debut in October 2018.
The Argentine forward has scored 36 goals and registered 25 assists for River Plate.
His contract with River Plate will expire on December 31, 2022.
