Ibrahim Masari has reported his resignation as running mate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, official Presidential Candidate, Bola Tinubu in the impending 2023 political race.
HOTGBEDU reports that Masari’s name was before submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC as placeholder while the party looked over for a likely up-and-comer.
Nonetheless, Masari in a letter addressed to individuals from the APC on Sunday, reported his renunciation.
The letter peruses to some extent, “I had the solitary unbelievable honor of being designated as the running mate to Asiwaju Tinubu last month after a distinctly challenged official essential in front of the 2023 general political decision.
“After much reflection and more extensive conferences, I currently wish to step down. I understood that my choice will empower Asiwaju to have more scope to give more convenience and consideration that will situate our party to win the approaching races, fully backed by individuals of Nigeria.”
HOTGBEDU had announced that Tinubu has picked Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate.
