Mr. Joseph Aloba, the father of Mohbad, absolves Naira Marley, the head of Marlian Records, from any suspicion related to his son’s tragic passing.
In a recent interview, Mr. Aloba delved into the tragic loss of his son and what transpired between him and his former boss.
According to Mohbad’s father, when he was informed of the fight between his son and his boss. He stated that he tried but failed to reach Naira Marley even though he was scared to visit his house.
He added that when Mohbad was attacked in 2022, Naira Marley was not involved but other individuals according to information from his son.
On allegations of his son’s drug use, Mr Aloba strongly asserted that he is unaware of such even though he is aware of the intoxication practices within the Marlian group.
He concluded by saying that the demise of his son was from God.
Also, the mourning father narrated that on the day his son died, he got a call from his associates asking him to meet them at the hospital.
According to Mr Aloba, he was at the bus stop when he got another call telling him that he should return home. However, he suspected something had happened, hence, insisted on seeing his son.
On getting to his son’s house, he found his lifeless body with an injury on his hand and not his neck as widely claimed.
The report given to him was that the injury was from a playful fight he had with his friend after which his hand got swollen.
Mohbad’s father added that his friends informed him that Mohbad vomited after being given an injection by an auxiliary nurse.
Mr Aloba concluded that he suspected that the ‘quack’ nurse employed to treat his son in his house may have been unintentionally responsible for his death.
