XABI ALONSO: FORMER LIVERPOOL AND BAYERN MUNICH PLAYER HELD TALKS OVER BORUSSIA MONCHENGLADBACH JOB
Xabi Alonso is in dispute to turn into the new director of Borussia Monchengladbach. Kicker in Germany guarantee that the current Real Sociedad B supervisor has held talks with the club to supplant Borussia Dortmund-bound Marco Rose. Alonso resigned in 2017 and has since proceeded to oversee at youth level for Real Madrid and Real Sociedad’s B group.
Previous Bayern Munich and Liverpool player Xabi Alonso has held talks over the Borussia Monchengladbach administrative job, as per German distribution Kicker.
Occupant Monchengladbach mentor Marco Rose is set to take over at Borussia Dortmund at the finish of the current mission, and Die Fohlen have recognized current Real Sociedad B group chief Alonso as a possible substitution.
Alonso, a three-time Bundesliga champ with Bayern Munich, resigned from football in 2017 and finished his UEFA Elite instructing course in 2018. He has been administrator of Sociedad’s B group since June 2019, with the group completing fifth in Segunda División B Group 2 out of a season cut off by the Covid pandemic.
